I was just leaving, Nate says coldly when Holden surprises Lily by dropping by. Are you ready to fight with me against Billy? she asks optimistically.

Good afternoon, Jack strolls into the ranch to get an earful from Victor about Billy/the Abbotts never owning Chancellor. Jack’s there about something more important – your son. For the umpteenth time, Victor mentions him almost killing Nikki during their night of ‘debauchery’. I’ll never forget or forgive.

Hugging Nick, Nikki’s supportive and understanding. I’ve lied and broken promises, Nick doesn’t know what to do with that.

Lunch is on me, Stephanie insists when Nate joins her at the club. It’s a write off because she’s trying to ‘woo’ him. Having scheduled his surgery, Nate hopes to take her up on her offer soon.

Lily’s not surprised to hear that Billy offered Holden a position. Cane can be a challenging boss and he hasn’t even defined my position, Holden explains. Billy would be a terrible mentor, Lily tells Holden to pick a side – are you going to look out for your family or yourself?

That’s wonderful news! Stephanie knows a good surgeon when she sees one. Nate considers Memorial ‘home’.

Billy also told Holden to pick a side – he claims it’s jut a matter of going to court. He’s a big talker – this takeover will never happen, Lily points out that Katherine was Devon’s grandmother. Lily will fight for her legacy – nothing is more important than family. Thrilled to be considered ‘family’, Holden vows to have Lily’s back no matter what.

Knowing about addiction first hand, Nikki understands the guilt and shame. You’re not alone; draw strength from our love, she and Nick hug and exchange I love you’s.

Jack’s an addict; he understands what Nick’s going through. That warms the cockles of my heart, Victor’s unimpressed. Set aside your hatred and see the value in this, Jack says before marching out.
