Invited to Jack’s office, Nikki correctly assumes that he wants privacy – and that worries her.
Nick’s struggling with a jigsaw puzzle when Maria appears to help. Sometimes it just takes fresh eyes for everything to fall into place.
Running into his Mom at CL’s, Holden needs to talk. Billy’s offered him a top position at Chancellor – which puts him in the middle of a battle between the Winters and the Abbotts.
At Lily’s, Nate’s surprised to hear that Devon thinks she should hand Chancellor to Billy. She hopes her plan works and there won’t even be a fight.
And if said plan fails? Nate wonders why Lily cares so much about juggling Chancellor while possibly running Winters by herself. Is this about Cane? he suspects.
Billy’s confident he’ll be taking over Chancellor next week and wants me onboard – Holden’s tempted to accept his mentorship. Stephanie would hate to see him jeopardise his relationship with Lily. Holden agrees – but knows Devon and Nate will never trust him.
Marie used again but something Nick said affected her – you said you’re no hero but not a waste either. Yeah, she checked herself in – someone’s gotta finish this puzzle, she sits down to chuckle with Nick.
Nikki reports that her vision is back to normal. Jack (and Diane) are getting back to normal too. No, there’s no dig at Victor coming; he won’t comment on her reconciliation with him.
Jack thinks it best if he keeps his distance for now. Nikki objects – Victor said his love for me is stronger than his hatred for you. Jack still thinks she’d have more peace in her marriage if she steered clear of him.
