Phyllis has lost her mind over Matt Clark, Adam tells Nick that Pops has his guys looking for him. We better find him before Phyllis does, Nick’s stunned to hear she might be in love with Matt.
Back at the motel, Phyllis brainstorms her plan to have Matt save someone; Victoria or Nikki. We missed a golden opportunity when she was blind. A slip and fall would be easier to stage in Winter. It has to be Sharon, Phyllis alarms Matt. After what I put her through? he’s uneasy.
Mariah drops by CL’s to ask her Mom how her visit with Nick went. Sharon met his friend; she’s rough around the edges but nice enough. Nick likes her though. Does that bother you? Mariah wonders.
Astounded that Phyllis is in love with Matt, Nick thanks Adam for ‘stepping up’. We need to protect ourselves so Phyllis’ actions don’t ruin things for everyone else.

My Thoughts: Really? The Riverbank Motel? Are there no other options besides the 5 star GCAC or the 1 star Riverbank Motel? Whatever happened to the Grand Phoenix? It’s never been mentioned since Lily bought it for Chancellor-Winters …. If it weren’t for the wrinkly shirt and the fact that it’s not 2005, I’d think the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy team had their way with Daniel; the large flowery print shirt, the perfectly coiffed hair, the white jeans, the crossed legs showing pristine ankle boots … Matt could save half the citizens of GC and the other half would still regard him as the crooked, violent, rapist, drug-dealer he is (or was) Of all Phyllis’ stupid schemes, this one takes the cake. Surely, it’s no coincidence that Victoria’s heading for a rendezvous with Kyle. Perhaps she’ll be the target after all…. OK, I’ve never been an inpatient at a fancy rehab facility, or any rehab facility for that matter – but I’m 99.99999% sure that surprise visits aren’t a thing. And surely, there’d be the occasional staffer wandering around, to replenish the sugar packets if nothing else.
