Outside Matt’s room, Phyllis pauses to answer a call from Lauren. Leaving the room next door, Victoria hides behind a conveniently parked housekeeping cart.
Having called their doctor for a second opinion, Diane feels better and will show Jack her bedside manner ~kiss~
Nick won’t let Marie go with the police. I’m going willingly, she will cooperate. Asked to ‘do something’, the staff lady says it’s out of her hands. Marie tries to joke about not having to pay for a divorce lawyer – I have to go this one alone, she tells Nick.
Ending her call, Phyllis leaves. Victoria rushes back into Kyle’s room to explain what happened. What was Phyllis doing at this motel?!
Diane and Jack cuddle in bed and talk about forgiveness and their love for one another. She’s falling in love with him all over again.
Devon and Lily now gone, Stephanie’s back at Nate’s with take out. He rewards her with a kiss.
Marie’s ready to take accountability. Nick will send Mike Baldwin to see her – trust everything he says. Marie thanks him and leaves with the police. Nick apologizes to the staff lady for breaking the rules (by lying) and is left looking extremely distraught.
If Phyllis found out, we’d never hear the end of this – she’d blackmail us! Victoria frets. No one saw us, Kyle reassures. Then why was she here? Victoria still wonders.
Phyllis returns to Matt’s room to say she can’t do it – we’ll think of another way for you to win over the Newmans. Appreciative, Matt will make it worth her time. Putting a hand on his chest, Phyllis knows he will.
