You still coming? Kyle sends a text, then opens his door to look outside.

Leaning out of the room next door, Phyllis picks up a bag of take out and shouts ‘thank you’ as a car pulls away. Hearing Kyle’s door close, she tells Matt that someone checked in next door.

Oblivious, Victoria walks past Matt and Phyllis’ window to enter Kyle’s room and wastes no time getting to what she’s there for.

Off for a hike, Diane doesn’t think Jack should be wearing sandals.

Stephanie brings Nate home. His arm in a sling, he wishes he was awake to watch Dr Price work on him. Stephanie had the procedure recorded. Nate tries to remain optimistic but is realistic. This might not work.

The police tell Marie that Logan was taken to the morgue. A staff member (finally) appears to agree with Nick that Marie should be given some time before having to answer questions – she just lost her husband. Nick can clear this up – it’s my fault.

Stephanie and Nate joke about him not being able to play basketball (or pickle ball or piano or finger puppets) Knowing he’s nervous, she’ll be with Nate every step of the way.

Nick tells the police that the urge not to use is bad – the feelings of guilt and shame can push one to their limit. Marie’s husband walked in as he was hugging her – he got in my face – I defended myself – he fell and didn’t get up. Logan was the aggressor.

Over Chinese take out, Phyllis assures Matt that Sharon’s the right choice – she loves being a damsel in distress and explains their history with Nick. She pushed me into a chocolate fountain and down stairs. Thin walls (they hear their neighbours ‘having a good time’)
