What are you doing here? How did you get out? Matt asks. ‘If I told you, I’d have to kill you’, Patty escaped from hospital after ingesting cleaning supplies (a trick Matt may need to use one day) You’re a criminal – why fight it?

The rift between Jack and Diane ends when Burrow calls to alert them that Patty’s escaped. Diane wishes she’d chased her to the hospital roof instead of the basement – and pushed her off! Jack makes a ‘who are you’? face.

Patty followed Phyllis to the motel – to save Matt from her. Asked to leave, Patty won’t be dismissed like an unwanted guest. You ARE unwanted, Matt isn’t scared of ‘Crazy Eyes’. Anyone who trusts Phyllis should be scared to death, Patty warns.

When Sharon rejoins her, Phyllis couldn’t be sorrier for pushing her friend away over Matt. Not sure if she’s worthy of forgiveness, Phyllis really liked having Sharon in her corner.

Billy sits with Audra to apologize for pissing her off – his compliment was sincere. Audra compliments him for backing off on Chancellor – but wants Billy to make it permanent (not just until the baby’s born)

Billy appreciates Audra’s support for Sally but this is ‘above your pay grade’ and ‘off limits’. Not to Audra. You have the most caring, loving fiancee and a baby on the way – why isn’t that enough for you? Billy makes his own decisions without Audra’s ‘unsolicited advice’. One more thing – don’t ever accuse me of putting anything above Sally and my family again, he leaves.

Jack reassures his panicked wife – security is covering us (and even Harrison at school) He again looks unsettled when Diane basically implies that she wants to find Patty – and kill her.

Matt cares about Phyllis. Why?! She knocked you out and traded you. Hearing that they’re planning his redemption, Patty scoffs – you’ll never get a second chance in this town. Matt has faith in Phyllis and will owe her forever. She’ll make you pay her in blood, Patty warns.

Holding hands across the table, Phyllis wishes she’d listened to Sharon and not aligned with the man who got Nick on drugs. It’s nice we can talk about him without wanting to scratch each other’s eyes out. What are you doing this afternoon? Forget work – let’s go somewhere!

You said you wanted to be friends, Phyllis pouts – I’m SO lonely. What other vein do you want me to open up!? Finally agreeing to have lunch with Phyllis, Sharon grabs her purse.

Yeah! You DID touch a nerve! Matt likes Phyllis a LOT. Why are you here?? Patty’s there out of friendship – you need me more than you need Phyllis. You can’t change your true nature. Both looking in the mirror, Patty mauls Matt. You’re not a monster – you’re special like I am. We make a great team. What would we team up to do? Matt asks. We both have unfinished business, Patty points out.

Jack agrees that playing along with Patty was the wrong move – we can’t give her leverage this time. We have to pull her out in the open; Jack has an idea to do that.

Billy interrupts to ask if he’s interrupting. He’s there to graciously and happily accepting Jack’s generous offer. Jack’s relieved and hopes Billy’s serious. No, everything’s not alright, Patty escaped, Diane updates.
