You thought I called you because of the baby? Sally gently implies that it’s not Adam she’d call if that were the case – but thanks for caring. Yes, he heard that Patty escaped – my father’s not responsible (this time) Chelsea has a big story ready to go. Sally wants Newman Media to put a spin on it – it’s a bigger platform than Spectra Charles. You’d be doing this favour for Jack.

How’d I do? Jack asks from a hospital bed. Oscar winning, Diane praises. Burrow and off-duty medics helped with the plan to lure Patty out of hiding.

Back in the alleyway, Patty plots with Mr Kitty. She’ll enlist Matt to do her dirty work. Once I get rid of Diane, Jack will be all mine.

Sally explains the plan – we need the news of Jack’s fake heart attack to go viral. Hell yeah, Adam will do it.

Diane can’t help but be reminded of the last time Jack was in the hospital. He hopes Patty’s caught and they never have to see her again. Until we do, Diane wonders when she’ll be out of their lives for good.

Patty tells Mr Kitty that she’s going to give Jack another chance. He’ll fall back in love with me. It might take some drugging but you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette.

Yes, Phyllis CAN say for sure that Patty will fail at bringing out Matt’s dark side. She reconsiders calling the police – maybe we can use this to benefit us.

Joining Billy and Kyle at Jabot, Sally reports that Adam didn’t hesitate to go along with the plan. Yes, Billy’s worried – if the police aren’t ready for Patty, who knows what can happen (to Jack)

With Mr Kitty perched on a dumpster, Patty sees that Newman Media’s already published the news. ‘Psychotic murderer escapes’; is that an insult? She’ll skip to the comments to see.

Victor’s reading the article on his phone when Adam drops by the ranch. Don’t pop the champagne cork (about Jack’s heart attack) just yet, he cautions.

Patty’s a threat to everyone in this town. If we bring that threat to justice, we’ll both be heroes, Phyllis plots. We’re playing with fire, Matt worries. No, Patty’s the only one who gets burned, Phyllis is confident.

Adam hesitated in telling his Dad because he feared he might alert Patty – to hurt Jack. His heart attack is a ruse to flush her out. Victor believes her obsession with Jack might be Patty’s downfall. Some people might exploit her fixation to hurt Jack, he adds.

Phone in hand, Jack expects Patty to call once the news breaks. She’ll be checking the news. Diane worries THEY might be the ones walking into a trap. Hearing a crash outside, Jack assures her that a dinner tray probably fell off a cart.
