Patty’s happy to see that some posters online sympathize with her. I’m trending/famous. What’s this? Jack’s been rushed to the hospital after having a heart attack brought on by my escape!? Alarmed by a video posted online, Patty’s happy when Matt calls. I knew we weren’t done with each other.

When Adam hopes his Dad doesn’t plan to use this info to hurt Jack, Victor grumbles – are you siding with him over me again? Adam wants his Dad to let it go (since he instigated all this to begin with)

While Sally, Kyle and Billy worry at Jabot, Diane and Jack discuss whether Patty will take the bait. Jack gives his word that she’ll come looking for closure and to finish what she started.

As Phyllis hovers, Matt tells Patty that he’s had a change of heart. Come to the motel and I’ll tell you about it.

My Thoughts: Ironic for Patty to tell Matt that Phyllis would stab him in the back (considering she stabbed Jack in the front) … Mr Kitty looks remarkably clean considering Patty’s been dragging him around for the past 20+ years (or did she swing by the hospital gift shop mid-escape?) … I wonder if Abby is aware that her Uncle Jack has had a heart attack in her restaurant (or will she read it online?).. What brand of putrid perfume is Patty assaulting the atmosphere with? Given her ‘fixation’ with Jack you’d think she’d be loyal to Jabot’s fragrances. If she smells that bad, how does she manage to sneak around unseen all the time?) … Why would Sally summon Adam to a busy coffee shop to tell him about the super-secret plan to lure Patty out of hiding? And does she not know how quickly viral stories spread online? Guess she’s not ‘killing it’ at Spectra Charles after all.

25 years ago today, Operation Yellow Ribbon was initiated across Canada after US airspace was closed on 9/11. Some 250 planes were safely diverted to Canadian airports in the span of approximately 3 hours. Due to security fears, larger airports were avoided in favour of smaller ones. Gander, Newfoundland (arguably considered our most friendly Province) with a population of less than 10,000 received an influx of almost 7,000 travellers. Gander residents opened their homes and their hearts without hesitation. Inspired by that kindness, Pay It Forward was created. In honour of the 2,977 lives lost on 9/11 and the thousands from related illnesses since, please join me in ‘paying it forward’ by performing 3 random acts of kindness over the next 11 days. And if you ever get a chance to see a performance of ‘Come From Away’, don’t miss it.

Geography has made us neighbours.
History has made us friends.
Economics has made us partners.
And necessity has made us allies.
Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder.

~ President John F. Kennedy, May 17th, 1961.
