Matt could tell that Patty’s suspicious. Phyllis is eager to take her down, call the police and bask in the redemption. You think she’s going to knock me over the head? You’re the one who did that to me, Matt’s making Phyllis suspicious that he’s going to help Patty escape.
Over their main course, Cane and Lily continue to discuss Jill thinking that this secret would stay hidden and her reasoning for keeping it from Billy. Maybe she was protecting him from himself.

When the subject changes to Vibrante vs Jabot, Kyle would rather talk about his feelings for Victoria.
At the ranch, Nikki asks Victor if he heard that Jack was taken to the hospital. Yes, she knows it’s a ruse (one that will work)
Patty can’t risk Jack dying before she can get to him – he comes first; Matt can wait. Something came up, she sends him a message.
Phyllis is arming herself with a lamp when Matt gets a text ‘something came up’ Patty’s not coming.
Lily can imagine a future with Cane and grins ear to ear when he suggests they move in together.
Cane gives a little speech – spending every day and night with Lily would make him happy.
Kyle can’t pretend this isn’t happening and has no regrets. Victoria thinks about him and has no regrets either. What are we going to do about this? Kyle says (as if a motel room is the answer)
Victor doesn’t give a damn about Patty – he’s more clever than Jack (his plan will fail) Nikki asks her darling to stay out of it. He’ll try – and that’s good enough for Nikki.
