Victoria comes in from the balcony as Kyle returns with coffee and scones. She’s ready for her morning meeting but will need a nap afterwards. On our way to Paris? Kyle’s disappointed that she worries about ‘tempting fate’. Fate then comes knocking on the door.
Salut! After clinking glasses with Stephanie, Lily, Devon and Abby, Nate’s delighted to hear that Society’s kitchen is preparing ‘all his favourites’.
Nate raves about all the new equipment Memorial’s acquired since he’s been gone. He was like a kid in a candy store, Stephanie jokes – she and the staff can’t wait for him to come back. Nate details his next steps; physiotherapy, training on new equipment and techniques – observing and assisting – then re-certification.
Is there news? Is Matt OK? Phyllis wants to know (as does Sharon) After Nick marches out, Sharon’s surprised that Phyllis isn’t interested in working together to get the truth out of Nick.
After Kyle goes to hide in the bedroom, Victoria answers the door. Mind if I come in? Billy leaves her little choice.
The Winters; party of 5 enjoy their food and conversation – though things get a bit awkward when Abby mentions Stephanie being friends with Nate’s Mom, Olivia. Lily tells Stephanie that Cane’s in London.
You should have called, Victoria chides Billy (who was so happy about his Mom’s prognosis that he walked straight over to share the news) Now that Jill’s recovering, he can go home to his new wife and baby.
Sharon can’t believe Phyllis is ready to forget about Matt. It’s done, Phyllis has moved on and so has Matt. Sharon worries Nick took matters into his own hands.
