Finally convincing Adam that he flushed Joe’s drugs, Nick’s grateful for his brothers’ support. If you run into Burrow, let him know I’ll cooperate with his investigation (sarcasm) Adam then goes back inside to join Phyllis (uninvited) at the bar. Having heard of her acquisitions, he wonders who she ripped off this time.
Sharon believes Matt DOES have control. Yes, she is scared; you could overpower me – but you don’t want to. The old Matt would have do it by now – there’s hope for you. Nick knocks on the door – you home???
You alright? Nick shouts – he sees Sharon’s car so knows she’s home. Given permission by Matt, she tells Nick to come in. Where’s Patty?! What are you doing here!?!? he orders Matt to answer – NOW!
Phyllis finds Adam funny and transparent. How’d you get the money? he knows Arabesque isn’t worth a sack of beans. Phyllis has Lauren and Daniel. Adam’s sad that Daniel will be out of work soon. Phyllis will be in the building across from Newman – waiting to take them down (as she’s done before) What will you do with Arabesque? Everything Newman does except bigger and better, she vows.
It’s not what you think, Sharon believes that Matt’s struggling and wants to change. You want to see the best in people, Nick will end this – NOW. It’s OK – do what you have to do, Matt thinks it might be best for everyone (himself included)

Matt’s quiet as Nick and Sharon argue about him. Finding him here, in your living room is the last straw! Nick bellows. Yes, it IS my living room – we do this MY way, Sharon’s firm.
Adam goes to the ranch to report to his Dad that Nick thinks Joe filed charges because he took his drugs. Yes, he believes Nick flushed them. We do have another problem though – Nick’s now focused on Matt.
