Take a good look at him – Matt’s psychologically damaged, Sharon wants to get him into a clinic for evaluation. Telling Nick that he tried to get Patty to turn herself in, Matt experiences another sharp pain.
Phyllis claims she hasn’t heard from Matt – but did share her plans for Arabesque – we’ll soon be in the streets bowing down to the new Queen of GC, Adam relays. ‘Shiver me timbers, I’ll be damned’, Victor chortles – but she did almost succeed last time. She’ll lose – they all do.
Back at Society, Phyllis leaves a message for Matt. Let me know you’re OK. Are you OK? she then mutters to herself.
It’s not an act, Sharon assures Nick, then promises Matt that she’ll get him help.
My Thoughts: Nick knows Sharon’s home because her car’s outside? Couldn’t she be in the bath tub? Why didn’t anyone think to tell her that Matt walked away from a car crash? Who could possibly have faith in Victor’s security team? They have an abysmal track record when it comes to protecting the Newmans and their property. Never thought we’d get comedic relief from a rapist who’s being defended by his victim, but here we are. Just take an Advil, Matt … Society’s bar stools look so uncomfortable, small seats with no back or arm-rests. Odd that Phyllis hasn’t done a big press conference at the GCAC instead of boasting about her big news one person at a time. She should probably stop crowing that Victor has to look at her building whenever he goes to the office. A) He rarely goes to the office and B) He could easily move to one of the other 3 corner offices… Adam mocks Phyllis for being the ‘new’ Queen of GC. But who exactly would be the old Queen of GC? And if she plans on eclipsing Newman by this time next year she should probably spend more time actually working… Adam shouldn’t be too ‘sad’ that Daniel will be ‘out of work’ soon. Daniel’s hasn’t had a real job in …forever.
