The second she wraps up the video call, Victoria gets a call from her father and is surprised to hear that he sat in on the meeting with Japan. I didn’t recognize the background; where are you??? he asks.
When Diane calls it a night, Billy implores Sally to come home with him (instead of staying at the GCAC) The sheets are SO soft there, Coco gushes.
Does Phyllis own the club now? Jack asks. Yes, and she’ll definitely let you know, Billy quips. After he leaves with Sally and Coco, Kyle announces that he’s going to check on Harrison then go back to the office. What can I say? I love what I do.
Victoria claims she’s at a friend’s place. Does this have anything to do with that ‘punk’ Abbott? Victor asks. What? No, Victoria lies – then promises she won’t get distracted again.
He’s really devoted to his job, Traci comments when Kyle leaves. Jack thinks he better ‘let up’ or he’ll never have another relationship. He then wonders if Ashley really meant it when welcoming Sally into the family.
At the club, Coco goes upstairs, leaving Billy to give it one more shot at spending the night with Sally.
Kyle returns to the apartment to ask ‘Ms Newman’ if she managed to get her clothes on in time for her video call. ‘No’, she kisses him.
Ashley admits that she has reservations due to Sally’s ‘messy’ past – things could go ‘terribly wrong’. She doesn’t want any more heartbreak for this family. Can Billy handle another loss? Can any of us? she adds.
At the bottom of the stairs, Sally sends Billy off with a kiss and an ‘I love you’.
