Billy joins ‘boss lady’ at Society as she wraps up a business call. Back from a business trip, she is indeed loving this. Billy loves it for her. Sally’s curious about the decision he’s made.
Over tea, Nikki tells Jack about her fight with Victor – he kicked me out. Agreeing that Victor doesn’t deserve her, Nikki can’t help but worry – our children’s lives are imploding.
No! Stop! Get your hands off me! Nick tosses and turns on the sofa (which alarms Adam)
Drinking alone at the club’s bar, Cane flashes back to Nikki announcing that Lily was in on her own kidnapping. Phyllis clip clops over to wonder why Cane’s drinking for breakfast.
Having gone along with Victor’s plan, Lily expects Victor to give Chancellor to her and Devon. There’s been a change of plans, things didn’t go as Victor anticipated.
Billy’s done a lot of thinking about his anger and obsession with Chancellor and to prove himself. Victoria sent the kids away to boarding school and he almost lost Sally; his guiding light. I’m going to go see my Mom.
Victor can take care of himself – YOU are the rock who holds the Newmans together, Jack appreciates his loyal friend and is sorry this feud has brought Nikki such heartache. It kills him to see her in pain. Nikki will survive – it could have been worse. Phyllis still has his empire; Victor won’t let that stand.
Ignoring Cane’s warning, Phyllis sits beside him to prattle on. When she mentions Lily, he asks if she knew Victor wouldn’t hurt her because she was in on it.
Victor tells Lily that Phyllis double crossed Cane; she still owns half his empire. What happens to our agreement? Lily’s annoyed.
As a phone rings, Adam manages to shake Nick awake. Adam? Oh man, Nick groans. You don’t look so good, Adam comments.
Billy knows the path he must go down. Sally thinks it’s wonderful that he’s going to see Jill – but unless he lets go of his anger and resentment, any progress will disappear like a footprint in the sand.
Victor will make good on his promise – eventually. He needs to use Chancellor to get his other companies back. Lily knew she shouldn’t have trusted Victor. Is this ‘temporary’? Or is it like our last dance?
Cane scoffs at the overconfident Phyllis. You think you’re untouchable; it always seems that way before the bomb drops.
Nikki doesn’t want to pry but is happy to listen – or talk to the ‘very upset’ Diane (who she knows Jack would never hurt) What exactly happened on that yacht?
The hell you’re ‘fine’, Adam’s told that Nick’s nightmare was about Matt. As Nick finishes a glass of what appears to be alcohol, he checks his phone. Huh, you’re right – the missed call was from Risa.
