Victor frowns in the direction of the piano as he flashes back to removing Nikki’s blindfold to unveil their new home. He gets a call – Patty’s being held without bail and Jack’s recovering – your family is visiting him now (not good news to Victor)
Jack’s shocked when Victoria leads Nikki in with her eyes bandaged – are you trying to one up me? he jokes.
Outside the ranch, Adam and Chelsea get their ‘game face’ on. Inside, Victor ends his call to grumble about another ‘betrayal’.
Jack’s doing just fine (but not allowed to walk yet) Patty’s been denied bail and facing two counts of attempted murder. Victoria’s so sorry. What happened to YOU? Jack asks Nikki.
After Victoria goes for coffee, Jack asks why Nikki’s trying to appear braver than she feels for her daughter – what’s going on? Oh Jack, Nikki admits she’s afraid.
Is the betrayal business or personal? Adam asks. Ignoring the question, Victor ba ‘what can I do for you’? Chelsea cuts Adam off to say they’re there to ask that he not go after Sally’s company.
In the hallway, Victoria and Kyle bond over the bond their parents share. Kyle knows his Dad appreciates the visit and that Victor won’t.
You were robbed, Chelsea admits – but Sally had nothing to do with it. She and Adam want to start a new company. Adam agrees – NE is all about new triumph, after all.
