At the ranch, Victor tells Nikki and Victoria about the ‘incident’ at Nick’s rehab facility (where Adam is) Nikki worries this might trigger Nick.
After a brief mention of ‘what went down yesterday’, Adam tells Nick that Matt’s still missing; Phyllis thinks Dad’s behind it. Nick will find out what’s going on between her and Matt when he’s released – by the end of the week. Yes, Adam has a problem with that – it’s a terrible idea.

At the Riverbank Motel, Matt looks conflicted as he flashes back to his last conversations with Phyllis, then Patty. What if she’s right – and redemption isn’t possible?
Sharon thanks Phyllis inviting her to lunch – we should do this more often. You never know what moment might be your last. ‘So true’, an anxious Phyllis checks her phone.
Matt envisions how the plan is supposed to go. Someone needs to deliver the Heimlich! he’d arrive at the club to dramatically roll up his sleeves to save a choking Phyllis. She can’t breathe! Sharon panics – then blames Matt as he holds a limp Phyllis. Oh no, Matt snaps out of it to look petrified.
Sharon encourages Phyllis to visit Nick and asks what she thinks of Marie. Neither are a fan.
Given that a man died yesterday, Adam thinks Nick needs time to process that – in rehab. Nick jumps out of his seat when Marie appears.
