Hearing Victoria talking to Billy in the hallway, Kyle freaks out in the apartment as Billy hints about coming inside.
At the main house, Chelsea chats with Nick (about the wedding etc.) She thought Adam might be here. No, she’s not worried, she’s baffled. Where do you think he is? Nick asks ominously.
Don’t hate me but should Ruby be out? Adam timidly asks. Yes, Sally called the pediatrician. Adam’s glad to see them both looking so well.
Of course Victoria’s going to invite Billy in (yet continues their chat in the hallway) Billy popped by earlier, in need of a friendly face – he’d appreciate Victoria’s ear if she’s not busy.
Sally can tell that Adam’s bottling something up – and dodging her questions. Fine, he admits that delivering Ruby was bittersweet; it hit Adam harder than he thought it would.
Adam’s probably in a meeting, Chelsea just wanted to tell him that Connor made the honour roll. Nick’s happy he’s flourishing. He thought about going to London with Vic – but didn’t want to get in the way of her doing what she does best. He’s sure she’s been ‘scoring big’ since she landed.
