Back at the club, Kevin works on his laptop – seems Lauren hasn’t been hacked. Fenmore’s has a worm of a different kind – it was Cane.

Lily came to Dylan because she trusts his judgment – there’s no way Cane would do any of this. My husband’s a good man – we don’t need the money. Ignoring Lily’s protests, Dylan shoves the money into the bag and hurries off to the police station. That leaves Lily to get a call from Cane – who holds out the phone so the kids can chirp – Mommy, come back!!!!

That attitude doesn’t help, Nike quips – on the stand, Chelsea shouldn’t express any anger at Adam. And don’t worry about Christine – just help me paint Adam as a devoted Father and husband, who acted out of fear of losing the family he cherished. It’s true, Chelsea has to admit.

Offering to let Adam skip town, Victor scoffs at HIM having it rough as a child (when HE was dropped off at an orphanage etc etc) Victor knows Adam’s devoted to Connor (and hopes one day Adam won’t hate him as much) Well Adam doesn’t really need Victor’s help to disappear. OK – but if you want to leave town before the trial starts, say the word, Victor reiterates his offer.

Paul suggests to Devon that someone has a grudge against Hilary and wants payback. Dylan bursts in with Cane’s bag, with the numbered ransom money. Ordering Devon to say put, Paul storms out of the station with Dylan in tow.

Lily assures the twins – Mommies always come home to their babies. And to their Daddies, Cane adds. After the kids head off to bed, Lauren drops by – what the hell – you authorized a huge deal behind my back!? Cane denies he made a million dollar mistake. He stepped back from the company, remember? Huh? Lily’s pissed Cane didn’t tell her that.

Mike coaches Chelsea – he needs more adjectives. Chelsea complies – Adam’s a liar, a coward. Is Adam a good Father? Yes, if your definition is someone who spies on his child …. OK – he plays with Connor for hours – is this what you want to hear!? Lose the anger, Mike says – do you love your husband? Chelsea won’t answer that. Giving up, Mike leaves Chelsea to rest. Adam deserves a fair trail and only you can help him. Exiting, Mike’s not happy when Adam gets off the elevator. I’m here to see my wife, Adam locks eyes with Chelsea.

In her suite, Marisa’s given a gift. It’s lovely, she’s underwhelmed – jewelry isn’t important to her. Luca knows she prefers simple things – making love on the beach. You’re the only woman for me.

In Victor’s office, Noah explains that Luca’s using Marisa’s little girl as bait. She must stay with him for a month. Of course Victor will help Noah find Marisa’s daughter – IF she leaves town once her daughter’s found. I want her out of your life.

Need help packing? No, Chelsea needs Adam to go. You don’t have to defend me tomorrow on the stand, be honest, Adam says. But if I ‘speak from the heart’, they’ll know. Know what? That I still love you.

At the station, Devon updates Kevin – we found the ransom money. Great – why isn’t Devon happier? Because it was found in Cane’s gym bag, at Cane’s house. Kevin isn’t so sure Cane’s not guilty (he tattles that Lauren’s pissed that Cane made a costly mistake – maybe he needed the ransom money to pay Fenmore’s before Lauren found out. Do the math.

Paul’s now at the Ashby’s to ask Cane about ransom money found in his gym bag. That’s ridiculous, Cane goes for his bag – then is pissed at Lily for going to Dylan with it (who went to the cops) Cane doesn’t have an explanation. Lauren butts in – like you couldn’t explain this bad deal – or explain that you took a pay cut to your wife??? You lied to Lauren and Lily about a money matter? Dylan and Paul see that as motive. Cane’s angry – he spent all his spare time trying to find Hilary! No, he won’t calm down, and he won’t go to the station – he’s not a criminal. OK, we do this the hard way – you’re under arrest, Paul announces.

Noah asks his Grandpa to put aside his dislike for Marisa – this is about reuniting a Mother with her child. Victor can’t do that. He brought Marisa into Noah’s life – and now he wants her to start a new life with her child – elsewhere. I love her, Noah says. Victor must tell Noah the hard truth – Marisa’s lied – about Marco, Luca, her child. He knows women like her – they manipulate. Noah pleads – just this once. No – that woman’s no good for you. Without further word, Noah exits.

Luca doesn’t expect Marisa to fall back in love with him right away – he’ll wait. Their daughter? Everything in it’s time, Luca says. Marisa goes out for some air. I’ll be waiting, Luca stays put.

Chelsea hates that she loves Adam – this love doesn’t make her ‘better’ – she’s hurt people she cares about, like Chloe. Adam’s sorry. Yes, you’re always sorry. Our love is worth fighting for, Adam believes. Chelsea wants it to be true – but they won’t have an amazing future. She wishes Adam hadn’t come back – she’d moved on. Now she’s losing him all over again. You’re going to prison. Adam’s not going anywhere tonight ~kiss~
