When Phyllis joins Billy at the bar to announce that the deal’s done, he’s less than enthused in his congratulations as he flips through the paperwork. You’re going to get the credit, Phyllis tries to cheer him up. Billy thought she came to discuss something else (like getting back together) Phyllis confesses that she lied to Nick – he thinks she’s at the office. Instead, I’m here – with you. Where do we go now? Billy asks.
At Vikki’s, Nikki grumbles about Sharon’s righteous anger. We had to eliminate Tessa as a suspect, Vikki shrugs it off and suggests they go to bed. Nikki wants to sleep in her own bed and is sure they’ll hear from Victor soon. After her Mom leaves, Vikki sips her wine and looks nervous.
Sharon’s sitting by herself worrying at CL’s as Mariah finds Tessa shivering and crying at the side of the road. Are you alright? Without a word, Tessa cries in Mariah’s arms.
Calm down – did they come after you because of Crystal? Mariah assures a crying Tessa that it’s NOT her fault. It is, I blackmailed the woman who took me in, Tessa sobs – and Sharon was so amazing to me. Mariah’s stunned to hear that the ‘thugs’ who left Tessa out here are Nikki and Vikki. They looked at me like I’m evil, she whimpers. You are not evil. Mariah understands the world Tessa’s used to – but she can’t do this anymore. Assuming she’s being dumped, Tessa offers to leave town. No, Mariah needs her and won’t let her go ~hug~
Phyllis feels guilty about Nick (who’s always been background noise to Billy) Phyllis doesn’t think having fun at work is enough and can’t forget that Billy slept with Summer. Apologies won’t help – we ‘burned it to the ground’ and I’m with Nick. Phyllis dumps some rings out of her purse onto the bar. Sorry but we’re done, she leaves.
Laying down in bed, Nikki feels something. Leaning over, she turns the lamp on and is absolutely horrified to see a man’s jacket and pants laid out beside her.
