Lily’s ready for bed but Billy’s still ‘wired’. Concerned about his insomnia, Lily’s reassured that Billy will be up shortly. Now alone, he sighs to himself – what the hell is going on with you?

Chance tells Abby not to worry – Dominic isn’t picking up on your tension. He’s fine (Devon wouldn’t have left otherwise) Abby’s too stressed to sleep – Dom’s red blood cell count is so low the doctor’s resorting to this invasive test!? (bone marrow aspiration) I’m so scared, she trembles in Chance’s arms.

Tossing and turning in bed, Chelsea flashes back to Adam repeatedly making it clear that she needs to move on (like she suspects he is with Sally) She calls Chloe; who can’t talk business because Bella’s having nightmares. Give Bella a hug from me – good night, Chelsea’s next call is the the front desk to have her car brought around – I’ll be down in ten minutes.

Billy searches online ‘how to get a good night’s sleep’. Largely unimpressed with the suggestions, he closes his laptop and repeats one of the tips – set aside time to meditate on your thoughts.

Back at the estate, Chance tells Abby that they must be strong and positive for their son. After convincing her to go up for a bath, he calls Rey – hey partner, sorry I couldn’t start today. Hearing that Rey’s doing some surveillance work, Chance decides to tag along.

So much for tip number one, Billy pours himself a drink – pause and process. I don’t have anything gnawing at me. Meditate. Let’s see where that goes. He starts talking into his phone – who are you? what are you? You are a man who had everything then lost almost everything – then got everything back except the one thing you miss the most – Delia. You lost everything because you were an idiot. Have you learned anything?

Chance sets Dominic down in the portable bassinet. I need you to be OK. You can count on me, bud. Me and your Mom will get you through this. She’s been here since the beginning. I’m here now, for you and for her. Trust me. I’m doing everything I can to get back on track. I’ll be the best Dad I can be. Going back to the force will give me my sense of purpose – you can always count on me. Chance doesn’t seem to believe his own words.

Chelsea’s surprised to run into Rey at CL’s. He’s surprised to see her too. Sharon’s gone home for the night. He’s going on a stake out. Chelsea went on a stake out once – casing a place with her Mom. Working cons wasn’t easy but Anita and I were a team. She said we had to stick together, no outsiders. ‘Do unto others before they do unto you’ was her motto.

Billy continues to record his monologue: Maybe I can’t sleep because I can’t break free of my past – or who I am – or who I used to be.

This is interesting. says Billy (I disagree) – you’re the analyst and the guy on the couch. There’s no sugar coating this – no turning a blind eye – there’s no running away. Blah blah blah. We hold onto hope. What are we hoping for? What am I hoping for?

Yes, Rey always wanted to be a cop. He was responsible for his brother and sister. When his Dad went missing, he searched until he found him; but he hadn’t gone missing – he was off having an affair. Chelsea was a good con artist; trained by the best. When she got pregnant with Johnny, she knew she had to be a good person. Both chuckle (ironic since she’s sitting with a man she recently poisoned) Rey can see that Chelsea’s changed. It’s admirable – some people never do. Chelsea’s still lonely and alone. You have your son, Connor’s something to be proud of.
