As Phyllis sits by silently, Jack tells Ally about the text messages he received. He came here for closure – to find out what kind of man Keemo became. Here’s some letters – addressed to me. Ally’s too upset to read them – just tell me what they say. She had no idea this side of her Father existed. Jack hopes she has support. Ally’s parents divorced – her Mom moved to the East coast. It kills me that you’re alone, Jack sniffles. I’ll be fine, Ally assures.
Phyllis wonders if Ally’s Mother could be the one texting Jack (if it wasn’t her) Ally denies any knowledge. Whoever sent those texts wasted your time. If my Father couldn’t reconcile with you, I shouldn’t either. Pretend this encounter didn’t happen. Jack can’t do that.
Mike’s fallen off the radar, Victor tells Vikki – Lauren’s very worried too. Ashland knew we were on to him. Vikki doesn’t like what he’s insinuating. Well, what do you think happened? Victor asks.
Back at Society, Nikki reminds Ashland of how supportive she and Victor have been of him and Vikki. After everything we’ve done for you, betraying us is unforgivable. Ashland’s not lying about his illness. Treatment is a reprieve, not a cure. He should be spending this time in remission enjoying his time with Vikki, not defending himself from lies.
Nikki needs proof. Ashland’s working on it. If Victor’s wrong, he’ll apologize, she leaves with her take-out.

Jack can’t pretend he didn’t meet Ally. Someone wanted me to come here. As painful as it’s been, he’s glad he came. I got to meet you. I’m a stranger to you right now but I want to be more than that. Jack pulls out a necklace he gave to Luan as a gift – it was your grandmother’s. No thanks, Ally’s sorry they’ve all wasted their time. After she leaves, Phyllis consoles Jack.
Maybe Ally just needs time to process, Jack muses. Phyllis agrees – she may not want a relationship with you – yet. Jack’s comforted to know that Keemo was loved, he wasn’t alone. And now, he knows he has a granddaughter.
Reconvening at Newman Media, Victor reports his meeting with Vikki. Her anger wasn’t directed at me. You sure about that? Nikki’s not. Victor’s sure that once she reads the evidence, she’ll be devastated.
