What the hell? Victor’s relieved and happy when Mike arrives at the office. Thank God you’re here. How the hell did you get back to GC? Oh look, here’s Lauren – and she’d like to know the same thing and insists on hearing what Mike has to say to Victor.

Now at CL’s with his Mom, Nick worries that Ashland will worm his way into Vikki’s heart. Nikki worries that she’ll doubt herself (and again mentions JT’s) She’s also ‘very’ concerned that Vikki confided in Billy. She’ll do whatever it takes to save the company – and that’s what has Nikki worried.

At Society, Vikki thinks it best that she missed Abby – she’s not really in the mood to see any more Newmans and could use a drink. Ashland can see that she’s aggitated – has your family been feeding you more lies? Are they getting to you again? What did they say this time? Where do we stand? Vikki knows their love is real and that Ashland wouldn’t deceive her.

Mike shares his story with Victor and Lauren. Right after he emailed Victor, the local police picked him up in Peru. His phone and passport were taken away. A guard in need of some legal advice gave him his passport back and the name of someone on the docks, then let him slip away. Mike’s sure Ashland was behind it. He didn’t call because he feared his phone might have been tapped. Once on a boat, he called Kevin.

Back on the patio, Kevin tells Chloe that Mike messaged him from another number, and again from another number when he got off the plane. Picked up at a park near the airport, Mike was frazzled and scared; looking over his shoulder the entire flight home. His urgency to see Victor is unnerving. And why does he blame Ashland? Chloe wonders.

Ashland’s confident their love can withstand these attacks; he just needs Vikki’s love and trust. To escape her family’s attacks, Vikki suggests they go to the villa in Tuscany.

Mike didn’t say much on the flight back – he thought someone might be listening, Kevin explains that his brother’s sure Ashland’s behind him being imprisoned in Peru. He won’t forgive him for what he put Mike through.

Worried that Vikki might be buying Locke’s story rather than admitting she made another mistake, Nick will find a way to get rid of him.

Lauren hopes whatever Mike found out was worth it. Invaluable, Victor claims. Mike didn’t want to put Lauren at risk; Ashland is ruthless. All that matters is that he’s home and safe. He and Victor drink to that. Things have blown wide open, Victor’s determined to get rid of Locke.

Ashland’s surprised that Vikki wants to go to Tuscany and reluctant to appear guilty by fleeing. My Dad already thinks you’re guilty, Vikki thinks he might ‘show his hand’. Trust me, she says yet again. Agreeing, Ashland just needs to tie up some loose ends. No need, Vikki’s already taken care of everything. Oh, fantastic, Ashland clinks her glass and drinks.
