In her office, Vikki’s brother and parents want to know if she still loves Ashland. That doesn’t matter – the only thing that matters is her plan to get rid of him. Victor and Nick scowl when Nikki informs that Ashland’s having second thoughts about setting Adam up.

On the CL’s patio, Adam’s not surprised that he has Ashland’s attention. Half a billion for walking away from Vikki and Newman Locke; a drama-free exit, no questions asked.

Ashley’s amused to see Traci staring out the front door, just like she did waiting for Daddy to come home. Now, she’s waiting for Jack – to hear what happened with Ally. Both hoping the trip to LA went well, they both now look out the front door.

At TGP, Jack thanks Phyllis – he’s not looking forward to telling Kyle that his Mother’s alive (but must do it before Diane does) Poor Kyle, he sighs as Phyllis hugs him.

Despite Diane’s manipulations, Phyllis remains a ‘cockeye optimist’ – Ally’s a good kid. Getting a text from Billy, Jack must face an Abbott family meeting.

No time for spellcheck etc. today. I’ll check in on Winston later and post an update tomorrow. To the kind and generous readers who’ve donated to his GoFundMe, I’m in the process of adding your addresses to the subscribers’ list. Thank you for your patience.

Hearing that Ashland has reservations about corrupting Vikki, so suggested running away, Victor thinks he’s testing her. Everyone except Vikki lacks confidence in the plan. You don’t trust me, she whines.

Back on the patio, Ashland notes that accepting Adam’s offer will look like an admission of guilt. Well, you are guilty (of lying about having cancer) You played your angle but now it’s over – leave with your reputation intact, Adam persists. Ashland knows Adam’s not looking out for his sister – you want the company. Does Victor even know you’re making this offer??

This isn’t a lack of trust, Victor believes Ashland’s suspicious. Perhaps he can be ruthless and still loves me, Vikki suggests. She’s comparing their relationship to ours – but Nikki can’t give Ashland the benefit of the doubt. Victor hates to say it – but he used you. I’ll make that bastard pay. Don’t question your plan now.

Ashland knows that 500 million was how much Victor paid his other children when they sued their Father. Doesn’t seem fair that he doesn’t see you in the same league as your siblings. Having to prove yourself over and over must be exhausting. Adam claims it’s the figure he and his Father came up with together.
