In her office, Vikki’s stressed as she flashes back to Ashland touting the benefits of accepting Adam’s offer.

Adam saunters into Ashland’s suite at TGP. He scoffs when Ashland has conditions. If you don’t, my family will destroy you. I set the terms.

On the CL’s patio, Tessa and Mariah are going to thrift stores looking for inspiration for wedding outfits.

Approaching Lily at Society, Sally doesn’t blame her for being mad at her – for keeping an eye on Billy. Lily would call it stalking.

In his studio, Billy thinks about calling Vikki but calls Nick instead. He wants to talk to her one last time. Stay out of it, Nick vows he won’t let Ashland get away with what he’s done to his sister.

Billy flashes back to Lily’s encouragement and tries to record his thoughts again. He’s been thinking about the abuse of power. It makes him angry. His rant about power is clearly about Ashland. It makes him want to do something about it.

In the office (of course) Vikki flashes back to Ashland giving her the portrait that hangs in the office – a new beginning for both of us. Nick arrives – is Ashland really considering taking Adam’s deal??

What do you and Victor expect for the money? Ashland asks. Relinquishing Newman Locke and an annulment. No, not a divorce. Once Ashland signs, the money would be wired. Ashland tells Adam to wire the money first, then he’ll sign.

Half a billion dollars to walk away from the company and me, Vikki reiterates. No, Nick doesn’t pity his sister, he’s worried about her. Adam’s offer has ruined my plan, Vikki’s annoyed. Thinking all the plans weak, Nick will go get rid of Ashland himself. Don’t you dare! Vikki shouts.

Adam tells Ashland to take a leap of faith. Sign – we send the money. None negotiable.

Sally tells Lily that she has every intention of earning everyone’s respect. Partnered with Adam? No one will take you seriously, Lily replies.

Billy realizes he can’t say all that – there’s other things to talk about; the pain Diane’s about to reak on Jack’s life. He starts talking about people who lie and play games, causing pain over and over again. Billy can’t say that either. There’s only one solution.
