Sally’s frustrated that Adam can’t catch a break; he’s brilliant and funny, supportive, and respectful. He gets me. Jack can hear the love in her voice. Adam tends to lash out when he’s hurt, he warns – take care of yourself.
The wild card is Adam; he needs to feel valued and handled carefully, Nikki cautions. Vikki’s fine with him going back to Newman Media. Adam’s nothing to lose sleep over, she’s unconcerned.
Ashland can tell that Vikki’s already replaced Adam. We’ve both been lied to, he tries to find common ground. Ashland’s not interested in suing (or pursuing) her – but yes, he wants revenge – don’t you? Have a nice day, Adam’s left to think.
Sharon’s brought Nick to the park to weigh the pros and cons of him going back to work at Newman; a move she now seems to be in favour of.
Billy works alone; recording late at night – but he’ll think about Chelsea’s offer and will get back to her soon. On her way out, she welcomes Vikki home (and pauses to look back longingly)
At Newman Media, Adam tells Sally about his run in with Billy, then Ashland.
Running into Jack at CL’s, Nikki’s still pissed off that Diane’s walking around without a care in the world. But, she has other things on her mind – ‘my family’.
What’s changed? Nick wonders why Sharon now supports him going back to NE. You’ve changed; Sharon thinks he can bring stability to the chaos. She knows Nick well and can see that he’s already decided to go back.
Adam’s sure Ashland planning something. He implied we’re after the same thing; making Vikki’s life a living hell. Isn’t the ultimate goal to be at the top of Newman? Sally reminds. No, Adam’s days of trying to impress his Father are over.
Back at Society, Vikki’s sorry for what she put her family through. She now has a favour to ask of Billy.
Sharon again tells Nick that she knows him so well. He appreciates her input. Going back to Newman is the right decision.
Still on the patio, Jack’s glad to hear that Vikki’s home. Nikki’s relieved she’s out of Ashland’s clutches. Yes, we hope it can all be put behind her, Nikki seems unsure.
Vikki wants Billy to expose all of Ashland’s lies on The Grinning Soul podcast, so he can’t do to someone else what he did to me.
Ashland slams the door to his hotel suite and does some huffing ‘n puffing.
Adam’s done trying to prove himself – he wants to see Vikki and his Father taken down. Ashland was right – we do want the same thing, he tells Sally.
Next Week; Nick tells his sister that he’s rejoining the team – maybe it’ll stick this time. Yes!!! Vikki’s thrilled…. Amanda blasts Imani for finding excuses to spend time with Nate (while Elena’s out of town) … An enraged Ashland starts trashing his hotel room.
