At Newman, Nikki clearly doesn’t approve of Vikki hiring Nate because he’s loyal to her. He’s also sharp; we have an excellent rapour, Vikki persists. And if he declines the job? She has other candidates. Either way, Sally’s out.

Nick breaks the news to Sally at CL’s. Newman has decided to replace you and Chloe at Newman Media.

Thrilled that Harrison’s joined them on their honeymoon, Kyle and Summer tell him about all the fun activities they’ve got planned for the week – starting with a trip to the beach!

Rained-out from the beach, Harrison happily skips off with Halloween treats while Kyle thanks Summer for being such a good sport about him crashing their honeymoon.

Nikki’s always liked Nate and Victor will be pleased. But, when Vikki explains why Nick insisted on being the one to fire Sally, she’s flabbergasted. Nikki hopes Sally takes the news with grace and doesn’t make things worse for poor Nick.

Sally has one question – is this coming from Vikki or you? Off the record, it was Vikki’s call. Nick ‘fought like hell’. That means a lot to Sally.

Much to Nick’s relief, Sally takes the news of her firing quite well. Holding hands across the table, she promises to make a decision (on which brother she wants)

Vikki doesn’t care who Nick dates, she has her own problems. She then tells Nikki that Johnny doesn’t want to see Chelsea. Vikki doesn’t blame him – she feels the same way.

Running into one another at the park, Phyllis understands why Chelsea declined working for Marchetti – it’s for the best. Best for who? Chelsea snaps – me or everyone else?!

After Harrison beats them at a game, Kyle and Summer take him back to the beach.

Vikki’s leaving work early to pick up Johnny and then go to see Katie’s Halloween parade. After she goes to her friends for the night, Vikki will spend some one-on-one time with Johnny. Nikki offers support and a hug.

Phyllis didn’t mean anything – she thinks Chelsea’s a good designer. You were great on Billy’s podcast too. Why did you stop? Noting that Chelsea’s been bouncing around job to job, Phyllis is sure she’ll find the right fit soon. Near tears, Chelsea hopes so.
