Back at TGP, Lauren updates Danny that Fenmore’s, Jabot and Marchetti are all under the same unbrella – perhaps you can record a duet with our spokesmodel (Tessa) When Traci thinks Danny should have one day off, Lauren chides her for being protective (still president of the Danny Romalotti fan club) Mike arrives to pat Danny’s torso and joke about how his kidney’s doing. All look forward to ringing in the new year with old friends.
Jack continues to listen as Jeremy agrees to consider Diane’s proposition and get back to her.

Back at the house, Diane’s grateful for Jack’s support. You don’t treat me like a horrible person. I like who I am when I’m with you, she tears up. Jack likes who he is when he’s with Diane too.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – happy new year. As the Baldwins kiss, Danny and Traci sing Auld Lang Syne. Sitting on a park bench to cry, Lily checks her phone to see that Daniel’s sent her a Happy New Year message.
