At the club, Audra’s on the phone with Nate – pushing him to talk to Vikki and get her out of this jam; she needs to keep Adam happy. On cue, Adam takes a seat at her table to ask if she’s talked to Victor about merging Newman Media and Adustus.
Good morning ladies – Nate tells Vikki and Nikki that merging Newman Media and Adustus is a good idea. Defy Victor? What’s gotten into you? Nikki’s alarmed.
Abby’s at the house on her Mom’s behalf to ask Jack to meet with them – just the three of us, no one else. Diane looks indignant.
In Jabot’s boardroom, Billy asks why Ashley and Tucker want him to push Diane, and weaken Jabot. What’s in it for me?
Ashley and Tucker tell Billy that if he succeeds in antagonizing Diane, he’ll run Jabot – Dad would be proud. I’m in, Billy agrees – but after they leave, he immediately texts Jack.
Diane agrees that she shouldn’t be present for his meeting with Ashley. If you want her to accept me, you should accept Tucker.
Vikki doesn’t want to give Adam a win. Nikki agrees – leave Audra to run Newman Media and Adam to run his own company. Nate’s left to work on Vikki (who wonders why he’d want to dilute Audra’s power – have you lost faith in her?)
Victor’s out of the country, Audra hasn’t talked to him. Adam’s annoyed. The new company will be announced next week – he wants to announce the merge too. Reminding Audra of the cover up she participated him, Adam won’t say where she’ll ‘land’.
Audra will help Adam if he promises, in writing, that she’ll have a power position. Release those emails and Tucker will be your enemy for life, she warns.
Vikki asks Nate what happens to Audra if the companies merge? He’s not concerned with that ~kiss~
When Ashley arrives, Abby asks the ‘significant others’ to excuse themselves. Where shall we begin? she asks her Mom and Uncle after Tucker and Diane leave to have brunch.
At Society, Tucker and Diane chat with Billy at the bar. Jack will realize that Ashley was right about you, he’s sure. Having lost her appetite, Diane’s not thrilled to run into Nikki outside.
