Sally looks up from her sketching, as if she felt Adam watching her from the club’s bar. He’s sorry he put her in an awkward position last night – but not sorry about the kiss he can’t stop thinking about.
Let’s not make it more than it is, Sally thinks Adam’s overthinking things. He loved kissing Sally again – and for a moment, he thought she was also reminded of how good they are together.
