Daniel pays Lily a surprise visit- good morning – he has something exciting to show her. Lead the way, she happily follows.

Inviting herself to join Danny at the GCAC, Phyllis is in an ‘extraordinary’ mood due to scraping the last bit of a nasty connection off her shoe. She finally feels optimistic about her future.

Nick thanks his sister and Mom for meeting him (at Newman Media; without Nate) He now believes that Dad is ‘fading’ – fast.

Hey son, Victor finds Adam working at Society’s bar. Stop insulting my intelligence, I know what you’re up to.

Adam’s trying to prove himself by working his way up from the bottom (in case Victor forgot) Victor shouts about how many times he’s defended Adam. No more! You’re fired – I want nothing to do with you! he plops down at another table with his back to a baffled Adam.

Back at Newman Media, Nikki’s in denial – we all have memory lapses. Nick relays his Dad saying that Sally and Adam are expecting a baby. He also asked me to come back to Newman – it seemed like a cry for help.

Daniel’s brought Lily to a vacant apartment in her building (which Devon owns) That’s a bit intrusive, she jokes with a kiss. She loves the idea. Good, because Daniel already signed the paperwork. What if I didn’t love it? she has to ask.

OK, Danny finds Phyllis joy ‘infectious’. When the waiter comes with his food order, she asks him to box it up and make her the same order – to go. What are you up to? Danny wonders.

Daniel knew he’d be able to persuade Lily ~kiss~ How soon can you move in? she asks. Tomorrow – and he’d like her help decorating his new place to be ‘cool and comfy’. Agreeing to hire Sally, he takes Lily on a tour.

Vikki finds it heartbreaking that Dad didn’t know about Sally losing his granddaughter. The three discuss finding help for their Dad.

How the hell are you? Victor greets Nate (who mentions that Adam’s doing a good job) Sorry I’m late, he joins Adam to wonder if he had a run in with your father. We’ll discuss it later, Adam confirms.
