Jordan finally gets around to revealing that she’s the sister of Eve Howard; the woman whose heart Victor broke – before throwing her out like she wasn’t even human. I’m waiting for all of you to make amends.

Nate stands by his plan (which wasn’t to betray Victor) They all wanted me to fail. Except Vikki – that’s a bit more complicated. You’re angry, Audra assumes. No, Nate’s furious. Furious enough to want to get back at them? she asks.

Back at the club’s bar, Sally has done some thinking but not come to a conclusion. Explaining her conflict, she doesn’t have any answers to Adam’s question. He’s been longing for her – for us – hoping Sally feels the same way.

Is there a chance for us? Adam asks. Sally doesn’t know – she put it out into the universe. He understands her hesitation but ‘that night’ meant something. What do we do now? Sally asks. Let’s have dinner, here, now; a proper date, Adam agrees not to talk about his ‘longing’.

Eve Howard was a deeply disturbed woman who made Victor’s life hell – she never mentioned a sister. We were estranged at the time – then she died, Jordan clearly blames the Newmans. Your wife’s not at the hospital – her seizure was just a ruse to get you all here.

Oh family, Jordan mocks Victor – you threw my family out like trash. This is no game – this is serious as a heart attack, which is you’ll all be dying from (thanks to the poison in your water bottles)

Nikki flashes back to a young Eve Howard telling her that Victor was going to marry her before he died. I gave him my son, I gave him my life.

Now seated for dinner, Sally tells Adam that Nick didn’t pull the plug on financing her. He’s a man who stands by his word, but no – we’ll never be friends. Chatting about Connor, Adam declares him ‘shockingly normal’. He rambles about how kids change one’s life until Sally decides she’s not hungry after all. She needs to do some thinking – alone. And no need to walk me to my room – the staircase will do.

At the bottom of the stairs, Sally can see that Adam’s trying to be better. Good night, she leans in to give him a kiss. He didn’t expect that. Neither did she.

Still at CL’s, Audra’s vague about the potential opportunity she’s considering. But – she does like to surround herself with colleagues who she can trust to get the job done by whatever means. I’m not as ruthless as you think, Nate claims. Keep telling yourself that, Audra clip clops out.

All the windows and doors are triple locked, Jordan tells the Newmans that they won’t be able to escape. Claire and I will watch you die. Cole?! Vikki’s astonished when Claire all but drags him in. Cole Howard? Victor echoes. He had to be here for the family reunion, didn’t he Mother? Claire retorts.

My Thoughts: What’s with all this talk of ‘car service’? Can’t they just call a taxi or Uber like normal people? … Life in Redmond Oregon must be pretty boring if standing around watching people die a slow death is your idea of fun. Maybe Jordan and Claire should take their family reunion outside – so they don’t make a mess of your pristine, white living room. There’s a good chance that at least one of the Newmans will shit themselves before going towards the white light. And OK – so you’ve been poisoned and don’t have long to live. What’s stopping Nick or Victor (or Vikki for that matter) from grabbing the usual weapon of choice (a fireplace poker) and beating these two pants-on-head-nutbars to death. And, so what if the doors and windows have ‘triple’ locks – break the damn glass already!
