While Victor and Nick are on their way to rescue her, Nikki’s Wrestling with Jordan (who can see she’s not really drunk) Let her go! Claire points the gun. Which one of us will you save? Jordan challenges her niece.
Back at the ranch, Cole has another scenario. Maybe Claire and Jordan teamed up to ambush Nikki. Vikki trusts Claire; she shares a connection with her daughter.
Choose wisely, Jordan warns. Get away from Nikki! Claire orders her Aunt. Jordan and Nikki take turns trying to convince Claire which one of them is to be trusted.
Vikki was heartbroken when she was told her baby died – she never got over it, Nikki explains. They threw you away. They don’t love you, Jordan argues. They would have loved me, Claire would have been a good girl. I would have had friends. You don’t deserve to live, she glares at Jordan.
Nick and Victor know Nikki will put up a fight. If she’s been harmed there’ll be hell to pay.
Cole and Vikki debate where Claire stands. Nikki will outsmart Jordan. She wouldn’t have gone without a plan. Vikki hopes so. Can you imagine what our lives could have been? Cole’s not sure he can. Vikki has hope they’ll get to find out.
Prison is too good for Jordan, Claire can’t let her Aunt hurt anyone else. Pull the trigger then, Jordan challenges. Knocking Jordan out, Nikki manages to take the gun from Claire and holds her tightly as she sirens grow louder.
You broke my heart, Jordan tells Claire (as an officer leads her out in cuffs) You broke my entire life! Claire snaps back. Get her out of our site, Nikki signals Jordan’s exit and is left to console Claire.
Nikki’s a survivor, she’ll protect herself and Claire, Cole reassures Vikki.
Victor and Nick rush in to hug Nikki (and eyeball Claire) It’s over – take me home, Nikki requests. You OK? Victor asks. Claire nods. Yes, we’re taking her with us – she saved me. Nikki promises Claire that they’ll never let Jordan hurt her again. I’m so sorry, Claire sobs in Nikki’s lap as Nikki caresses her hair soothingly.
