Coming down to find Jack distracted, Diane’s told that a friend might be in need of his help.

Not happy to find Seth rummaging through her desk drawers, Nikki confronts him with her suspicion that he’s drinking again.

At Society, Kyle has no intention of apologizing for punching Tucker. Yeah, he might be interested in going into the ring.

Tucker now respects Kyle – he knew he’d never be able to turn him (because, like Ashley, Kyle is loyal to his family) Your plan didn’t work, Tucker’s question is sincere not facetious, Sincere question – what is it about the Abbott family that inspires such loyalty and devotion.

No, Nikki hasn’t been drinking today – but she suspects Seth came looking for a drink. You’re right – I fell – hard. But, today is a new day – he wants to go to a meeting with Nikki. She sympathizes but can’t rely on Seth as her sponsor and wants him to call his sponsor. Don’t get rid of me altogether – we’re friends, he pleads.

Jack confides in Diane that he was addicted to pain pills. He has many regrets during that dark time. Yes, Kyle knew – he outed Jack in the gossip columns to force him to get help. Phyllis helped him through a nasty withdrawal. As a recovering addict, he feels he’s in a position to help ‘her’. Diane immediately guesses that Nikki’s drinking again.

I’m fine today, Seth’s convinced they can help one another. He’s pleading when Audra enters the office to say that she didn’t know Nikki was in a meeting. He was just leaving, wishing each other well, Seth leaves Audra to ask Nikki if she’s OK.

Audra wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for me, Tucker boasts Kyle won’t dispute that but the relationship is ‘transactional. She’s all you have. Kyle wouldn’t expect Tucker to understand loyalty. Knowing Kyle was tempted, Tucker sees nothing admirable about the Abbotts. I’m still coming for you.

Lauren reached out to me in confidence, Jack has decided to help Nikki. Diane won’t get in the way of helping someone’s recovery. Assured that helping Nikki won’t awaken Jack’s addiction, Diane pledges her support.
