At the house, Jack asks Ashley if she’s OK. Are you worried about me? she replies. Did Traci tell you I don’t know what’s real? Did she tell you Tucker finally succeeded in breaking me?

It’s my father, he’s gone too far this time. At the club, Vikki tells Cole that he’s using Claire to get to Jordan.

Adam wants Nick to help convince Dad to fold Sally’s business into Newman. You want me out of her orbit, Nick doubts she’d even want to work for Newman (after how Victor treated her) You might be onto something, he admits as Victor arrives at the office. Nick and I have something to talk to you about, Adam wastes no time.

At the ranch, Lauren listens in as Nikki answers Jordan’s call. I know it’s you, Nikki boasts that she hasn’t had a drink all day. You’ve failed in your plan to destroy me. Seated at The Empty Glass, Jordan challenges her – show me how strong you are – face to face.

Fine, Nikki will meet Jordan face to face – on my turf (the ranch) Jordan won’t walk into such an obvious trap. Maybe I’m closer than you think, she unnerves Nikki.

When Victor informs the boys that he’s hoping to use Claire to get to Jordan, Nick wonders how his sister feels about that. Victor doesn’t give a damn if Vikki’s against it. He’ll do whatever it takes to protect his family.

Yes, Claire agreed to go along with Victor’s plan. Cole and Vikki worry it might trigger a setback. Vikki’s mad that her Dad would use Claire’s eagerness to make amends. Cole can’t agree with his method but understands the motivation – keeping the family safe – and that includes Claire.

Jack reassures Ashley – Tucker doesn’t have the power to break you. I’m not doing well, Ashley admits. In tears, she eludes to her ‘history’. Jack vows to help her figure it out.

Ashley’s scared she exaggerated things in Paris – Tucker was angrier than she’d ever seen him but what if he didn’t break a glass or toss a chair? Why would my brain do that? Jack believes he has answers for her.

There’s a security guard out there, Lauren whispers to Nikki after looking out the window. You’re probably holed up at a seedy motel on the outskirts of town, Nikki demands Jordan meet on her terms. Jordan chuckles – she’s not going back to prison. We’ll come face to face again – you’ll never see me coming.

When Nikki relays Jordan’s threats, Lauren thinks she should have enlisted Victor’s help before provoking Jordan. Nikki changes the subject – let’s go out for lunch. Lauren has a better idea – let’s have Jack bring us lunch. Better to be safe than sorry.
