Billy sees no reason to worry – have confidence in Ashley. We should trust and support her – this is Ashley’s journey. Jack reluctantly nods.

After hostess Tessa introduces herself to Ashley, Abby comes out to update her Mom that she’s joining the board of directors at Chancellor Winters. I’m worried about you, Mom.

Pretending to be a disgruntled customer, Mariah appears to wish Tessa Happy Birthday (?)

Devon joins Abby and Ashley; who wanted to meet with them both. She details her trip to Paris. Tucker’s right, I’m wrong, she apologizes. Ashley then suggests Devon reconsider shutting Tucker out of his life.

Upstairs, Audra demands Tucker make the call to plan their trip – now. Tucker obediently makes the call – two first class tickets to Paris. Satisfied? Tucker asks. Apparently so – he carries her to the bed.

Summer meets Chance at the club. How did the pitch go? It was brief. Nate and Devon loved it – Billy, not so much. He wasn’t enthusiastic. Billy’s been great – until today. It was weird, like he had an agenda. Chance picked up on some underlying tension between Billy and Devon.

Mariah jokes about her ‘Karen moment’. Are you OK with this new job? Yes, Society has so much energy and Tessa enjoys interacting with the staff.

Devon doesn’t want Tucker in his life or Dom’s. Ashley hopes her false version of events didn’t contribute to his decision – please give him another chance. Just think about it, Ashley leaves Abby and Devon to look worried.

Tucker sleeping soundly in bed, Audra heads off on a mission.

Summer tells Chance that things didn’t go ‘super smoothly’ when Devon and Billy worked together before. Billy always felt like an outsider at Chancellor. Chance felt like Billy’s problem was Devon being ‘in to’ his pitch. Last thing he wants it to have to pick sides.

Billy defends Ashley’s ability to make her own decisions. Traci agrees – Ashley seems calm and in control.

Devon and Abby didn’t see that coming. She supports whatever he decides with Tucker but won’t be able to forgive and forget. She’s also not sure what to make of her Mom giving Tucker the benefit of the doubt – something’s going on with her.

Seconds after Ashley gets home, Audra arrives to set some things straight.
