At CL’s, Phyllis greets Amanda with a hug – what brings you to town? Battle preparations.

Meeting Nate at Society, Maime wastes no time relaying that a little birdie (Ester) told her that team Chancellor isn’t exactly cohesive.

After Billy repeats his lukewarm reaction to the music festival idea, Chance is about to leave but changes his mind to clear the air.

Tucker wakes up alone – Audra?

In the dining room, Jack worries that Ashley’s susceptible to Tucker again. Though Diane and Kyle are unconcerned, Jack’s mid-rant when Tucker comes downstairs.

For some reason Ashley lets Audra in. Back off, Tucker’s with me now, Audra snarls. You’re here because you know he’s not over me, Ashley’s not intimidated.

You’ve got Daddy issues, Ashley scoffs when hearing that Tucker’s taking Audra to Paris. Yeah, well, Audra won’t run home to her family. Do you even have a family to run home to? Ashley quips. You do NOT want to go to war with me. It WILL end badly for you, Audra warns.

Much to Diane’s frustration, Jack marches over to the bar to confront Tucker (who thinks he should let his sister live life as she chooses)

Amanda scolds Phyllis for faking her death. Just don’t die on me again. She’s standing in for Jill at Chancellor to get Billy and Chance in line.

Surprised to hear that Billy wants Abbott added to the company name, Maime’s sure Devon shut it down. Jill bringing Amanda to town is playing dirty. Nate speaks highly of Chance (and relays Billy shooting his idea down) Maime immediately wants him on their ‘side’.

Back at the office, Chance is ‘blunt’ – he refuses to be used by Billy (or Devon)

Chance doesn’t appreciate Billy being condescending. Nate likes his idea and Chance values his input. He won’t be weaponized in this power struggle. Billy just gave his opinion. He wants to nurture Chance (who wants less protection and more ‘room’)

Phyllis expresses condolensces for the loss of Amanda’s Mom. You’re fierce. No, you’re fierce. Amanda will go whip Chancellor Winters into shape.

Audra plays dirty and enjoys it more than she should. You don’t get Tucker like I do. You dumped him over drama that only happened in your head. You’ve got it bad, Ashley won’t admit anything to this ‘bitch’. You already lost, Audra’s shown the door.

Ashley’s done with you for good, Jack claims. Tucker accuses him of having an iron grip on his family – Kyle almost betrayed you, Billy left for Chancellor and you destroyed Ashley’s spirit. Jack disputes each point. I’m having a nice dinner with my family while Devon wants nothing to do with you.

You Abbotts brought me to my knees, Tucker admits – well done. But now he’s inspired to use Glacade to kick Jabot’s ass. You know nothing about the beauty business, Jack looks forward to watching him fail. Stay away from my sister. What if she can’t stay away from me? Jack won’t let Tucker hurt Ashley again. He walks off to answer a call.
