Kyle suspects his Mom’s not really worried about the company – she’s worried about Dad’s renewed connection to Nikki.

Maime’s invested in her family – this is about the Winters legacy. Nate loves his Aunt but isn’t interested in conflict. No good can come from this. Give up this battle with Jill. No, Maime’s there to make sure her family takes control of Chancellor.

Afer exchanging a few polite words with Chance, Amanda’s left to ask Billy what that was all about.

Uh oh. In the hallway, Abby’s seen that look before. Chance walks off grumbling about working with Billy. She follows.

In the office, Amanda reminds Billy that Chance is on their side. He’s a war veteran – you really think he needs to learn a lesson from you? Jill wants this team pulled together. Billy’s annoyed that she (Amanda) doesn’t trust him all of a sudden.

Maybe Diane’s paranoid but she worries about Jack’s addiction. She then revisits Kyle resenting her for taking the coCEO job. How do we fix it?

Sitting on the couch, Ashley’s having a dialogue in her head. There must be another way. Are you sure this is the best way to handle things? Yes.

Jack comes back to report telling Tucker to stay away from Ashley and the family. Diane and Kyle worry that will only provoke him. Jack almost hopes he does cross the line.

Back in her suite, Audra’s just poured herself a drink when Tucker comes to join her. We leave for Paris in three days. He immediately guesses she went to confront Ashley and can’t wait to hear all about it.

Abby’s followed Chance to the CL’s patio. He complains about office politics and Billy. Abby wants Dom’s ‘other Dad’ to be happy. Chance didn’t realize how much baggage Billy came with.

Amanda admits she has a soft spot for Chance (who was with her when they caught Abby and Devon cheating) Billy thinks he has a chip on his shoulder. Devon loves everything that comes out of Chance’s mouth to make me look like a ‘dream killer’. Are you? Amanda asks point blank.

Billy stands by his reaction to Chance’s idea. Amanda thinks he’s in denial.

Yes, Chance has seen Amanda. Abby did too – it was uncomfortable. Chance thinks it’ll all work out – and that Abby and Devon belong together. She will always wants the best for Chance (who’s happy to report his life’s moving in the right direction)

You’re the only one for me, Tucker reassures. Audra’s not feeling insecure – anymore. Ashley can’t come between us, they clink glasses. It wasn’t a provocation – it was a warning.

When Jack comes home (with Diane and Kyle) a cheerful Ashley assures him that she’s just fine and moving on. Things are finally going my way – she’s off to work on an idea – in Jabot’s lab. Bye. See? She’s over Tucker and will be OK, Diane tells Jack to stop worrying

Her voice sultry, Ashley calls Tucker – hi, can we meet for a drink?
