Yes. Victor has Lily and the twins, Cane confirms. Daniel’s done with his mother – she had the nerve to ask me to go to Milan. Summer said she won’t even answer the door for their Mom. Cane just wants to bring his family home (which will require Daniel’s help)

Holden’s briefly left alone to flash back to Claire vowing to get to the bottom of his mysterious past with Audra. She returns to reiterate that she can’t be ‘serious’ with Holden as long as he’s withholding his past – the art dealer disappeared. ‘You think Audra and I offed the guy?’ Holden’s indignant that Claire thinks they’re that ‘diabolical’.

Back at the bar, Jack hates that this conflict has cost Nikki a company that meant everything to her. Billy should be with his mother, Nate agrees. Jack wonders if he and Victoria are reconnecting.

Outside, Billy wonders if Victoria really wants to open that can of worms – the Newmans had the AI program first, then Phyllis; he had nothing to do with it. You’re the benefactor, Victoria adds that her father donates to the school – she’s sure she can ‘paint a picture’ that absolves her family of any wrong-doing. Just spare the kids and sign the permission form!

Are Lily and the twins in danger? Daniel asks. Cane only knows that Victor’s hiding them somewhere. He was ready to give everything back when Phyllis double-crossed him. Victor’s using his family as leverage until he turns things around – and that’s where you (Daniel) come in.

Claire thinks Audra’s capable of anything and only knows Holden on a ‘superficial’ level. Questioning his ‘charming facade’, she doesn’t think Holden a cold blooded killer but maybe you killed the guy by accident and you and Audra covered it up.

Cane implores Daniel to help him. Do it for Lily – you loved her once too.

Jack didn’t mean to pry but assumes Nate and Victoria found common ground in their grief. After dealing with Audra’s lies, Nate’s but his romantic life on the back burner – he enjoys her company. Jack knows Victoria’s dynamic and strong, like her mother – and Billy’s being reminded of ho strong she is as we speak (they both look towards the window)

Billy doesn’t want their kids dragged into this war (that Victor started) – but where was Victoria’s concern when he was trying to destroy my life??? You threatened to paint me as a criminal to get what you want. You had it coming for taking MY mother’s company – to prove to YOUR mother that she was wrong, Victoria claims. If I didn’t step in, Phyllis would be running Chancellor – is that what you want? Billy suggests Victoria accept that this is final. Nothing’s final, she disagrees.

Claire admits that her investigation did come to a dead end – no one knows what happened to the art dealer. That creep probably had a lot of enemies to hide from, Holden suggests. Claire’ gut tells her that she’s not getting the full story. If Holden won’t tell her everything, she doesn’t think they should see each other anymore.

Victoria joins Nate and Jack at the bar – I’ll have whatever they’re having. She’s sorry she chased off Jack’s lunch companion. For the record, Jack doesn’t approve of what Billy’s done but doesn’t think the kids should be dragged into it. Victoria’s sending them away – she knows what she’s doing.

Cane’s trying to appeal to Daniel’s heart because he’s desperate. Get your mother to rethink things. Hear me out, he has a plan to save Phyllis from herself. Don’t we owe it to Lily?
