An excited and relieved Nikki hugs Nick when he arrives at Society. She gives no details on her fight with Victor – and gets no details on Matt, other than he’s dead (Sienna won’t say more)

At the house, Sienna appreciates Noah always making her feel safe. When Sharon comes down, he thinks Sienna should tell his Mom what she told him (about what happened to Matt)

In a small diner, a banged-up Matt looks scared and confused as he drinks his coffee.

Phyllis balks at Chris bringing a cop to her office to intimidate her. Oh, Chris isn’t there to intimidate Phyllis, she’s there to arrest her. The officer advances as he reads Phyllis her rights.

Refusing to be ‘perp walked’ out, Phyllis warns Chris that her glee will soon turn into humiliation. Chris is putting her personal feelings aside but must hold Phyllis accountable for stealing Victor’s company.

Understanding why Nick wouldn’t trust that Matt’s dead, Nikki mentions him being ‘dark’, even before he went to Vegas. She’s devastated to hear that Nick became addicted to opioids and ended up in the hospital due to bad Fentanyl.

Sienna tells Sharon her story – Matt told her they were all dead. She jumped out of the car – Matt caught her. She fought with everything she had – that’s when I killed him.

Back in the diner, Matt empties his pockets and comes across a key/card for the GCAC.

Holding hands across the table, mother and son discuss addiction. He promises to be honest – she won’t judge him if he stumbles. Nick excuses his Dad kidnapping Jack – forgive him. Nikki may never be able to.

Sienna flashes back to Matt attacking her – hitting him over the head with a rock a few times – checking for a pulse. I killed him. Now we know, Matt’s finally gone, Noah concludes – for good this time.

Phyllis saw an opportunity, took it and it paid off. It obviously didn’t, Chris will see her in court. Clinging to the door as the cop hauls her out, Phyllis vows to fight every step of the way.
