Delivering a homemade batch of Cane’s favourite cookies to the train, Lily notices a framed photo of herself on display. Cane’s manifesting, and it seems to be working.

Nikki joins Jack as he dines alone at the club. You’re watching the door in case Diane arrives, she correctly guesses.

At Society, Diane congratulates Sally on the baby/engagement and accepts the invitation to join her while she waits for Billy.

Billy’s just ended a call with Katie when Patty almost collides with him on the CL’s patio.

Over sparkling waters, Diane and Sally bond over interior design. You won everyone over, Diane’s in her corner. Sally appreciates that – even if it’s a bit strange given the separation.

Nikki will always be Jack’s dear friend.

On the patio, Billy tells Patty to go back to the loony bin; he knows she’s there for Jack. Patty’s confident she’ll show them all that she’s reformed.

Cane’s procedure is tomorrow morning – he’s sorry he can’t go to New York with Lily. His stem cells will be couriered over. Lily knows he would have taken his chances with the law if need be.

His giant salad untouched, Jack’s sorry to hear that Matt Clark’s caused the Newmans more grief. Both he and Nikki miss their married lives (not to each other;)

Diane wonders if Jack’s ‘gutted’ because of what he did or because he got caught. She’s not choosing to be hurt and would go back to the love she shared with Jack in a heartbeat if she could.

Cane tells Lily that the emails are fabricated but what they say is pretty much true. Things could get bad, he warns.

Billy follows Patty into CL’s to cast doubt on her redemption. She’s a far better person now and wants to prove it (though knows he and Diane will be the last to see it) Billy’s insulted that she’d even compare their actions.

Cane wanted to get back at Victor for destroying the empire he built with his father. It felt like he stole our connection. Phyllis double crossed him (which enabled him to get rid of her)

Jack believes Nikki’s better off without Victor in her life – maybe it’s time for a new chapter. She hopes cooler heads will prevail. Good luck with that, Jack also worries Diane will never forgive him.

Diane’s starting to believe that falling in love with Jack again was a mistake. Sally clumsily wonders if what happened on the yacht is making Diane question her worthiness (of Jack) all over again.

Patty had nothing to do with luring Jack onto that boat and didn’t force him to do anything. Before marching out, Billy suggests she leave and never come back. Patty chuckles – then catches Matt’s eye.

Cane’s salty because Victor knew he was going to give everything back (for Lily and the twins) and implicated him anyway – and Phyllis stabbed him in the back. Blaming Phyllis for everything, Lily won’t let her drag Cane down.

No, Diane does NOT blame herself for Jack cheating. It was all Victor and Patty – and Jack too, Sally concedes. Sometimes she feels she doesn’t deserve happiness because of things she’s done. Sorry if I overstepped or overshared. Diane appreciates her thoughtfulness. Billy joins them to relay his run in with Patty.

Patty hasn’t seen Matt around here. He asks if the name Matt Clark means anything to her.

Lily confronts Phyllis in her office. Tell the authorities that Cane had nothing to do with it or I’ll ‘single-handedly dismantle you’.

Patty doesn’t recognize the name. Neither does Matt. I think I’m him. Hi, I’m Patty Williams, she introduces herself. Matt’s looking for someone who can fill in the blanks.

Holden drops by the train to tell Cane that he’s going to NY with a friend to meet Lily. All are glad he’s a match. You just missed Lily, she left in a hurry, Cane adds.

Cane’s innocent, this is all on YOU, Lily knows Phyllis stole Victor’s companies. Don’t you dare take Cane down with you! Oh, Phyllis isn’t going down for this.

Jack hates that Victor never meets Nikki half way. He wants his friend to be happy – don’t be the one to give in this time.

Back at Society, Billy tells Diane that Patty said she’d find a way to deal with her – take it as a warning.

Diane hopes Patty does come for her (so I can take her down) Sally and Billy think she should be careful. You don’t want to let Patty win do you? There’d be no contest if you could forgive Jack. Now, would be the time, Billy urges.

It’s so surreal to Holden. He hardly knows this man but feels he should be there for him. Spend as much time with Malcolm as you can, is Cane’s heartfelt advice.

Phyllis will make sure that Chris loses – you don’t know anything about the charges or evidence. Leave Cane out of it, Lily repeats. Or what? Lily will channel every ounce of hatred her mother had for Phyllis. You don’t want me as an enemy. Phyllis is left to look concerned.

Jack encourages Nikki to finally let go of Victor. Coming through the revolving door, Diane sees her husband holding Nikki’s hand across the table, and she’s not happy about it.

Matt gets little flashes of LA – I think I ran a rock club. Apparently I have a vibe. People seem to think I’ve done a lot of bad things – Matt’s trying to figure out what. Maybe we can help each other, Patty suggests mischievously.

My Thoughts: Two words; Nikki’s hair.
