Adam talks to Chelsea about Nick’s defiant behaviour; he’s not thinking straight – he’s lying. This whole thing might spiral out of control.
Nick lists Matt’s crimes, ending with ‘he tried to blow us all up in Vegas’. You can get him off the streets – it’s a win for you and the world. But why not bring him AND Phyllis to justice? Chris wonders.
Matt tries to make sense of it all – the only two people who know me hate me. Random strangers punch me in the street. Explaining the connection between Phyllis and the Newmans, Patty warns Matt not to trust her – she knows exactly who you are. She’s not your friend – she’s setting you up.
Pointing out that she’s not to blame for Matt’s crimes, Phyllis plans to end Sharon’s pain by handing him over – but don’t I deserve to keep my company? I’m trying to get justice for everyone and I’m NOT backing down, she marches off.
Adam drops by the ranch to ask Victor if there’s any news – he doesn’t have a good feeling about Nick. He’s strung out and may try to negotiate with Phyllis on his own. If so, we may never get Newman back.
Following Phyllis to the patio, Sharon assumes she misses her kids, Nick and ‘our friendship’. Everyone turned their back on me, Phyllis sulks. Matt’s dangerous, he’ll hurt you next, Sharon warns.
Matt doesn’t believe Phyllis is witholding the truth from him. She’s straightforward – she wouldn’t set me up. Patty warns Matt that Phyllis is gaining trust to exploit his weakness. She’ll take care of it and have Matt’s back.
Victor thinks that Nick knows better. Adam disagrees – he’s full of rage and not thinking straight. He needs treatment, Victor pulls out his phone to call Phyllis.
Nick tells Chris that he doesn’t care if Phyllis keeps the company. Never mind her – let’s focus on Matt. Where is he? Chris realizes that he doesn’t know, and that Phyllis does – you’re letting her exploit you. What the hell is wrong with you, Nick???
