Only in town for a few days, Malcolm wants to get to know Holden a bit. See you tonight, he leaves Lily to ask Cane how their talk went. He thanked me and warned me not to hurt you (which he’d never do)

Matt will never go back to that dark place again. Talk sense into him, Victor orders Nick (who also doesn’t want bad-Matt back) You won, you decimated Cane’s company and got our company back, he reminds. With all due respect (to Victor) Matt must make amends to Nick the most (so will do what HE wants)

Having forgiven his Mom, Holden’s not just OK with her moving there, he’s ‘thrilled’. Move in with me! Stephanie wants to be closer – not THAT close. Claire congratulates Stephanie and as Holden’s giving her a hug, Malcolm appears – can I get some of that?

When Holden introduces his ‘travel companion’, Malcolm can see Victoria in Claire’s eyes; he likes the jacket. After Claire leaves them to ‘catch up’, Stephanie gushes that she’s never seen Holden like this with a girl before. After some banter, father and son get serious. The fact that Holden wished he could have helped Malcolm means everything to him.

Over food at Society, Lily and Cane laugh about him getting hooked on a TV show about vampires. You have way too much time on your hands – run Chancellor for me. Hearing that Cane’s ‘legal situation’ is resolved, she wonders – how do you know Victor’s done making you pay?

Nick will go along with whatever his Dad has planned. If you don’t want to be our enemy, you must align with us. In return, Victor will have the charges in Vegas dropped. Otherwise, he’ll turn Matt in. Maybe that’s what I deserve, Matt did some soul searching when locked in the ‘boxing gym’ – what if I go back to my old ways? Fine, let’s do it, he finally agrees and thanks Victor for the apartment.

After Stephanie leaves, Malcolm says she raised Holden ‘all the way wrong’ because he’s a Dodgers fan instead of a Yankees fan. Malcolm wants to know all about Holden – but is more interested in his future than his past. Your mother tells me you aren’t clear on what you want to do or where you want to go. She’s not wrong, Holden admits.

When Adam arrives, Nick announces that Dad’s putting Matt up in the apartment by the stables. What if the kids run into him!? He’s going to do a job for me; he’ll be watched 24/7, Victor wants Matt to prove he’s truly redeemed. He seems sorry for what he’s done, Nick concedes. Victor needs Matt Clark to go after Cane. What are your reservations about? he asks Nick with a straight face.
