On the patio, Nick ends a call with security (checking on Matt) as Sharon comes out – both are dressed up for the opening of Noah’s club.
Looking out the door, Sienna’s excited to see a line up ‘around the block’ for their ‘soft opening’. Noah seems like a bundle of nerves.
Their dinner plates cleared, Holden announces that he’s taking Claire to the opening of Noah’s new club – and would like his Mom, Malcolm and Lily to come along.
At Society, Billy orders a Scotch for himself and that ‘joker’ over there (Adam) Chatting about Victor and Jack both being at a fundraiser on the east coast, Adam boasts that Phyllis gave the company back – the Newmans always win.
Noah’s familiar with clubs (the Glam Club and his Dad’s Underground) – but this is a fresh start for us. Sienna couldn’t be happier – you’re in your element – you’ve got this. WE’VE got this, Noah gives her a kiss. When he frets about the bartenders not showing up, Sienna jumps in. I love you. I love you more.
Back on the patio, Sharon asks about the phone call Nick was on. Yes, it was about Matt – it’s messing with him. Sharon can’t believe she feels grateful to Matt (for saving Nick) What’s the plan for him? she wonders.
Stephanie and Malcolm tease one another about being too old to hit the dance floor. Also teasing one another, as siblings do, Lily and Holden leave Stephanie to thank Malcolm for coming to spend time with ‘our son’.
After exchanging verbal jabs, Adam wonders if there’ll ever come a day they run into each other and don’t hurl insults. You tell me, Billy replies.
Sharon’s horrified to hear that Matt’s her neighbour; Victor’s aiding and abetting a fugitive. Nope – Dad had the charges dropped; he’s going to use Matt to get something he wants, Nick adds.
Stephanie wishes she had told Malcolm years ago. He wishes she did too, but doesn’t judge her. He’d rather be happy and grateful to know now (than being angry)
