As Kyle continues to try the keys, Diane’s blasting the unconscious ‘twisted, little man’ when his phone rings. Hello Patty, guess who. No, no – This can’t be her – it’s a trick, Patty throws the phone.
Your plan failed – Diane’s on her way home – get the hell out of my house, Jack throws Patty’s robe at her. Your pride’s cost us everything, Patty leaves Jack to pick up the phone and exchange a few words or relief with Diane. She and Kyle leave when he finally manages to unlock the door.
Kyle’s driving through the night. Jack’s on speakerphone. Diane reports that she’s fine – she drugged Markham’s food – hopefully he’s out for the night. Kyle will make sure the cops deal with him when he wakes up. Patty’s gone; Jack vows to burn everything she touched. Diane, I can’t wait to see you ~click~ Finishing his drink, Jack looks up to find himself face to face with Patty. Uh oh.
Diane missed Kyle – and Harrison – come hell or high water she was going to make it back to them. Now I’m on my way home. To the club? Or home, home? Kyle adds that Dad knew you were there. Diane never stopped loving Jack – she’s going to OUR home. We’ll be there before you know it, Kyle’s happy.
I thought you left, Jack orders Patty out. She’s loved him all her life – you broke my heart again. This is what real love looks like. Giving him a kiss, she plunges a knife into Jack’s belly. It’s OK – I’m here with you; I believe in the afterlife. We’re going to be together forever – I love you, Patty removes the knife and spoons Jack on the carpet.
Next Week: What are your plans going forward? Lily asks. Holden has no idea. Maybe we can remedy that for you, Cane suggests … Here we are – we’re home, Victoria opens the door to the ranch as Nick guides his Mom in; step up, nice and easy – you’re doing so good…. Dad? Kyle expected his Dad to be waiting by the front door. What was that??? he and Diane hear glass shattering and run to investigate.
