Happy to see Victor and Nikki reunited, Mike’s ready to officiate. Claire and Abby join the men as Nikki comes down with Victoria. Victor tears up – you take my breath away.
Sally blasts Billy – Adam and I had an agreement to keep the payment secret but you just had to stick it to him and Victor. It felt good. Billy admits – Adam goaded me. By saying hi? Sally quips. Did you not think about the repercussions? Victor will likely come after Spectra Charles – EXACTLY what Sally was trying to avoid.
What the hell are you doing here?! Adam snarls at Matt. Is this guy sucking up to you? he asks Cane – he isn’t an old friend from Kansas. Too late – Matt’s already bared his soul. Adam warns Matt that after crossing the Newmans, he has no options – you’re either the useful tool or the enemy – take it from someone who knows.
Mike and Nick inject humour into the nuptials of ‘this drop dead gorgeous woman’ to the ‘luckiest son of a gun on the planet’. I adore you, Victor slides the ring on Nikki’s finger. You may kiss the bride, Mike says – to which the small gathering applauds.
Sally’s going to need more than an ‘I’m sorry’. Flowers? Food rub? Billy’s jokes don’t land. Sally doesn’t even know what he can do – you lit this fuse – you better damn well find a way to put it out, she slams out.
My father’s threats are real, Adam thinks Matt should leave town. Matt may not be the same guy he used to be but he knows what he’s capable of and has a big bag of tricks he can pull from (‘in self defence of course’) I’m staying in town – just leave me alone, Matt stands to warn Adam – don’t force me to do something we’ll all regret.
Abby, then Claire, then Mike, then Victoria toast the bride and groom. Nick wraps it up – to the enduring love of Victor and Nikki Newman – love can conquer all. Here! Here!
