At the club, Cane overhears Matt leaving a message for Phyllis – wondering what his job title will be. Based on his experience as a club owner and drug dealer, he’s thinking ‘Lord High Emperor of Legitimate Operations’ at Arabesque. Are you going to use my old company to go after Victor? Cane asks Matt.
We need to talk! Adam pounds on Sally’s door. Confirming that Billy’s not there, he rants about her blabbing to Billy and Billy blabbing to Victor.
Victor!? Blathering about going shopping with Victoria, Nikki comes through the front door to notice that the ranch is filled with red roses – what’s all this? Victor appears to hope she didn’t have plans tonight.
Matt’s not going after Victor (or anyone else) he’s just not doing his bidding anymore. Victor must be furious, Cane assumes. Phyllis made Matt an offer he couldn’t turn down. Does it upset you that she has Arabesque? he wonders. Show me your cards, I’ll show you mine, Cane answers.
Sally didn’t ‘run’ to Billy. You sure didn’t waste any time, Adam whines that Billy made his Dad feel like a fool – guess the NDA meant nothing. Sally explains that Victoria came by to run her mouth too – she couldn’t wait to share the news. Sally assumes Adam got in a few shots with Billy.
Now that Nikki’s sight has been restored, she can see the depth of her love for Victor with new clarity. Victor pulls out a box that contains the ring Nikki had returned to him. Slipping it onto her finger, Victor asks her to marry him again. On cue, Mike, Lauren, Abby, Victoria and Nick file in.
Still at the bar, Cane tells Matt that he invited GC’s power players to his chateau in Nice. People died. No, he didn’t kill anyone. He came back to GC to burn it to the ground. He didn’t do that either, but he hurt people. You’re wrestling with guilt, Matt admits that what Victor has on him is a helluva lot worse.
