Devon will help Nate in any way he can. Both are sorry and agree it’s all water under the bridge. Both want Lily to let go of this fight for Chancellor.
Jack decides that Billy can take care of himself and he can help Nick when he gets back. Looking forward to a romantic trip, Diane thinks they should leave before any more trouble strikes.
Victoria wisely thinks Nick should be the one to decide if Jack’s his sponsor. Maybe he’s made a connection with someone in rehab who can be his sponsor. That said, she’s seen how much Jack cares about Nick. Victor’s opposition stands but he’ll think about what they’ve said.
Kyle informs Claire that her Mom wants to revive the Jabot vs Vibrante battle he and Audra came up with. Knowing that Kyle still blames Victor for everything that happened to his family, Claire has to wonder if this is a ‘sneaky plan’; using her Mom to get back at Victor.
My Thoughts: Um, Nate admitting that he might be ‘rusty’ would have been a good opportunity for Stephanie to mention that he might need to enrol in a refresher course to brush up on his existing skills and learn new techniques developed in the last 5 years Nate’s been out of the game. Stephanie shouldn’t be the only one making staffing decisions and any opening on Memorial’s surgical team should be filled by the best surgeon – not the best grilled cheese maker. Stephanie might be impressed that Nate’s ‘curios’ but who wants a ‘curios’ surgeon opening them up and saying ‘hmmm what’s this then?’?? Personally, I’d want the usual; a narcissist with a God complex who knows what he/she is doing … Uh Claire – your Mom was the one to come to Kyle with her ‘proposition’. What would really piss Victor off is Kyle and Victoria hooking up. And it’s about time Claire learned the Newman tradition of parent-child sharing a partner… Victoria doesn’t need the Abbott’s permission to start a cosmetics battle. There’s nothing to stop her from blitzing the Internet with ‘blind’ tests (using paid actors who choose Vibrant products over Jabots)… The only thing missing from Jack and Diane’s vacation planning was mention of the word ‘yacht’ …
