When Kyle returns to the apartment to pour himself a drink, Victoria comes out to ask if he’s OK. Kyle’s not sure.
After Cane ends his call to Lily with ‘I love you’, Billy admits ‘this thing’ with Kyle has him ‘spinning’. Didn’t he seem a bit ‘off’ to you?
Victoria’s surprised to hear that Kyle ran into Cane. It gets worse – Billy showed up and kept asking questions like he knew I had a secret and was trying to trap me into spilling it. Do you think he knows about us??? Victoria’s alarmed.
The silences in their conversation felt ‘loaded’ to Sally. Adam feels a bit haunted by his past. You mean OUR past, Sally wonders if it’s because Ruby’s here and Eva isn’t. Adam shares his ‘overwhelming’ feelings. This is a new beginning, Sally gently points out that Ruby isn’t a replacement for Eva – she doesn’t want the pain of the past to overshadow her joy. You’ll always be part of her life – you brought her into this world. It bonded us, again, in a different (better) way.
Sharon loves Nick for being protective of her but not when he’s overprotective. His vagueness and insisting ‘it’s over’ doesn’t reassure her that Matt’s somewhere getting help.
Adam would be honoured to be part of Ruby’s life in whatever way Sally and Billy are OK with. He should probably leave – last thing we want is Billy to know I was here. Sweet dreams baby girl, Adam whispers to Ruby and leaves (without hugging Sally)
Of course Sharon doesn’t think Nick killed Matt but there are other ways of making people disappear. He’ll never tell her where Matt is. Why are you talking about Matt? Phyllis appears on cue.
Kyle doesn’t think Billy followed him to the pub – but, he was fishing so I got the hell out of there. Maybe we need to rethink you joining me in Paris. Victoria had a nightmare that gave her a knot in her stomach. Going to Paris with Kyle tomorrow would be reckless but she’s tired of ‘playing it safe’. Paris it is ~kiss~
Cane doesn’t know Kyle well enough to comment. Billy believes he’s hiding something. Victoria’s here on business; maybe Kyle’s trying to sabotage Vibrante. Not everything is a conspiracy, Cane’s amused. When it comes to the Newmans and Abbotts, some things are, Billy replies.
