After Kyle excuses himself to take a call, Jack goes over to chat with Nikki and Victoria about Diane’s photoshoot at CL’s. Suddenly remembering that she has a meeting, Nikki leaves Jack to ask Victoria about her trip to London and wonder if there’s any chance that Claire and Kyle might reconnect.
At Society, Nate feels bad for putting Stephanie in the middle. It’s my job to facilitate disagreements – but, she does wonder if she overstepped. Bishop’s an ass – she worries he’ll make things hard for Nate while she’s in London.
I can handle Bishop, Nate assures. Stephanie hopes he doesn’t back down. She’ll miss Nate (and not just the sex) Hoping she enjoys her time with Holden and Malcolm, Nate will miss Stephanie too.
Jack knows Kyle made bad choices with Audra but he and Claire had a good thing going – he even thought they might get married. He wishes Kyle would find someone. When Kyle returns, Jack leaves him to ask Victoria ‘do I want to know’? No. Should I stay? Or should I leave too? he asks.
On the patio, Sharon does her photo-shoot. Then Diane. Then all four ladies. Even Ester gets in on the action. Wrapping it up with some shots of Danny and Chris, all are inside laughing when Nikki arrives to kill the mood. Well, well, well – isn’t this special? Her first target is Sharon – what are YOU doing working for the competition!?
Stephanie and Nate return to Memorial’s staff room laughing. Bishop joins them to report that surgery went well. Congratulations, Nate says politely. After Stephanie goes to speak to the family, Bishop announces that he’s limiting visitors to the OR. Nate’s not a visitor, ‘I’m a surgeon’. Not yet you aren’t – Bishop scowls – my OR, my rules.
Victoria doesn’t want Kyle to go – but it’s for the best. What happened? Kyle asks. We need to make a clean break before we hurt someone (especially Claire) Victoria continues ‘it was fun while it lasted’ but we’re being selfish – there’s no real feelings. Neither will forget what they had together. Kyle pauses at the revolving door to look sad while Victoria mopes at her table.
This is a private photo shoot, you weren’t invited, Diane tells Nikki. The door was unlocked – how was I to know? OK, Nikki knew and came to see Diane making a fool of herself. She again lashes out at Sharon (who didn’t expect Nikki to be upset) I modelled for Jabot, Nikki wonders why she wasn’t invited. She snaps at one after the other (including Cane and Danny) Diane knows Nikki’s pissed because ‘our campaign will eclipse your little launch’. Get a grip! Diane orders Nikki (after she has another go at Sharon) ‘No one here is responsible for your insecurities’. Enjoy your shoot! Nikki vows to strike back and storms out.
