At the house, Jack’s update makes Kyle LIVID; Patty’s blackmailing you into being with her to keep Mom safe!? It’s sick! Jack’s going along with Patty so Diane’s not in even more danger.
How’s our patient? At the club, Patty’s on the phone with Laurence. It doesn’t matter if Diane cooperates with her ‘treatment plan’; Patty should have what she wants by the end of the night.
Having been shown a photo of Diane, Jack’s convinced Patty’s holding her. He loves Diane and WILL get her back. Believing his Dad, Kyle will trust his instincts – but is understandably alarmed that Jack’s plan is to go along with Patty.
Jack tells Kyle all about Dr Laurence Markham, the man who ‘cured’ Patty – he runs the Markham Behavioural Clinic (seems legit) and referred Diane to another doctor. Jack will put on ‘the performance of a lifetime’ to get info out of Patty.
Jack calls to invite Patty over to the house to discuss their future. I knew you couldn’t resist me, she crows.
Not interested in the doctor’s tray of ‘late night nibbles’, Diane demands a phone. If my husband’s so worried about my mental state, I want to speak to him – NOW!
Sashaying into the house, Patty knew Jack would change his mind. He’d like to speak to Diane’s doctor – to make sure she’s getting the help she needs. Let her go – choose me, Patty wants a commitment. Jack’s answer is ‘yes’.
